Can the Minister indicate briefly the contents?
The text of the Bill derives from the debate in the other House and also in this House, arising out of which it was felt desirable to modify the arrangements under which the Oireachtas can challenge Regulations made pursuant to EEC Directives in order to give the Oireachtas greater control in this matter. The Bill has been designed to achieve that objective, amending the European Communities Bill for that purpose.
