The amount in the Hospitals' Trust Fund on 30th June 1973 was £145,546.22. This represents less than 1 per cent of the annual turn-over of the fund and is no more than a reasonable working balance, and therefore none of this money is invested.
There is no money other than that and that will be transfered to the Department of Health.
