No changes are contemplated at present in the compositional minima for ice cream in the Food Standards (Ice-Cream) Regulations, 1952.
Is there any change contemplated by membership of the EEC?
That is being considered at the moment.
Is the Parliamentary Secretary aware that research was done on this in University College, Cork as long ago as 1948 and that the standards were found to be very low indeed?
Our Department advisers advise us that this is quite safe.
