I am not so aware. There have been no purchases whatever by my Department in this connection. I am aware that certain specialised items of equipment which are not readly obtainable without advanced ordering and payment of substantial deposits were ordered last year by University College, Cork, with the agreement and financial support of my Department, for installation in the proposed new experimental building of the faculty of dairy and food science. Some of the equipment has, I understand, been delivered to the college and is stored temporarily there.
