Cavan): This research project, which has been carried out for a number of years past by An Foras Talúntais on behalf of the forest and wildlife service of my Department, was reviewed earlier this year and the general lines of a work programme for the years immediately ahead were mutually agreed. Research is continuing accordingly and, in addition, I am taking steps to secure a wider practical application of the results already achieved.
