Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Laois School.

158.

asked the Minister for Finance why tenders have not so far been invited from contractors for the erection of the new boys' monastery national school in Mountrath, County Laois.

Mr. Kenny

Because of an increase in the size of the proposed school from four to six classrooms the planning authority require a fresh application for planning permission to be submitted. The reverend manager has been asked to make the necessary application. In the interest of expedition bills of quantities will be prepared with a view to the invitation of tenders as soon as possible after the receipt of planning permission.
