It is proposed to take Business in the following order: Nos. 4, 13 and 14 and in No. 14, Vote 9 (resumed). By agreement, it is proposed that the order for the Second Stage of the Maintenance Orders Bill, 1974, which was to be taken on 4th June, 1974, be discharged and that the Bill be taken today after the conclusion of No. 13.

In view of the fact that the Law Enforcement Report, which was, I had assumed, to be discussed today or tomorrow or on both days, is not now being taken, might I ask the Taoiseach whether consideration has been given, in view of very recent events not unrelated to this report, to the possibility of a discussion or a debate in the House on the overall situation in the Six Counties?
It is not intended to have a debate.
Could I further ask the Taoiseach to give consideration to an early discussion on these matters? In support of this, I put it to the Taoiseach that there are other views than those which are being fed to the Government and to the leaders of the Opposition party from the Six Counties. There are other valid views which are entitled to be heard and considered and which might be a help to the Government in this thorny matter. I suggest the Taoiseach would give consideration that some time be given for a discussion on these matters. Might I ask also that I be allowed on the Adjournment to raise the question of the representations that may have been made by the Government to the British Government for the repatriation of Kelly, Feeney and the Price Sisters? This is an urgent matter.
