asked the Minister for Justice the number of bank robberies which have occurred from 1st April, 1974, to date; the location of each robbery; and the amounts stolen and recovered in each.
With the permission of the Cheann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 81 and 82 together.
The number of bank robberies in the period from 1st January, 1974, to 31st October, 1974, was 24. Eighteen of these robberies occurred since 1st April, 1974.
Particulars of the location of each robbery, the amount reported stolen and the amount recovered in each case are given in the attached statement which, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, will be circulated with the Official Report.
