asked the Minister for Justice if he will extend the present opening hours of Cashel Garda station, County Tipperary.
With the permission of the Cheann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 83 and 84 together.
As I stated in reply to a question by the Deputy in February last, the opening hours of Cashel Garda station have been arranged by the Garda authorities to enable the station party to devote as much time as possible to the more important outdoor duties and also to provide an adequate office service for the public. The Commissioner continues to be satisfied that the present arrangements ensure the best possible use of the available manpower.
