The total amount of contributions appropriate to the scheme of pay-related benefits received in the period from 1st April to 30th September 1974 is estimated at £5,189,000. The employers paid £3,459,000 and the employees paid £1,730,000. The amount paid out in benefit in the same period was £1,398,000.
The total amount of pay-related contributions received in the period up to December 1974 is estimated at £8,317,000. The total amount paid out under the scheme in that period, including administration expenses, was £2,943,000.
