Most of the money received by this country from FEOGA comes from the guarantee section of the fund in respect of refunds and compensatory amounts on exports as well as certain price and market support measures. It is not possible to give a breakdown of these receipts on a regional or county basis.
Under the guidance section of the fund grants amounting to £176,000 have been approved for projects located in the Gaeltacht as a whole. Of that sum £127,000 relates to the County Mayo Gaeltacht.
