It is proposed to erect a new automatic exchange— not an auto-manual exchange—at Carrick-on-Shannon. The Commissioners of Public Works expect that the erection of the automatic exchange building will commence next year.
Will the automatic exchange in Carrick-on-Shannon include extra lines to Ballinamore, County Leitrim.
I understand that under automatic conditions Carrick-on-Shannon will be the switching centre for all exchanges in the Boyle - Carrick - on - Shannon - Drumshanbo charge groups.
