Although since August, 1974, the blocking of cross-Border roads in and near Kiltyclogher, County Antrim, has been raised formally with or by the British authorities on no fewer than 13 occasions, and informally on many other occasions, our representations regarding the economic and social hardships experienced by local residents have not, unfortunately, as yet met with a positive response. We will continue to press for the reopening of at least one cross-Border road in the area.
