I have recently become aware of the type of gun referred to in the question. The weapon would appear to be a firearm within the meaning of the Firearms Acts and as such could not be imported unless a licence or certificate to cover the importation was in force. I do not see any likelihood of circumstances arising in which I would be prepared to grant such a licence or certificate.
