(ii) The figures in Column (2) include expenditure on Main roads in Ballinasloe Urban District for which the County Douncil is the responsible road authority. Figures in Column (4) represent expenditure on Urban roads only.
(iii) The County Council was responsible for all public roads in the Borough until 1st April, 1973 when the Corporation undertook that responsibility. Accordingly, the figures in Column (3) for the years 1965-66 to 1972-73 inclusive, represent expenditure on Urban roads only.
