asked the Minister for Education whether the proposed extension to the structure and grounds of Scoil an Leanbh Íosa, Coxtown, County Donegal will be ready for occupation this winter.

Sketch plans for the enlargement and up-dating of Coxtown National School, Carrigans, County Donegal, have been prepared.

A grant towards the cost of the proposed scheme will be sanctioned when agreement is reached as to the local contribution to be provided towards the cost of the scheme.

It is not possible at this stage to say when building work will be completed.

104.

asked the Minister for Education when the additional classroom approved for Drumkeen national school, County Donegal, will be erected to relieve the serious congestion in the school.

As it is proposed to replace Drumkeen national school by a new school on a new site, the addition of a permanent room to the existing building would not be warranted. A prefabricated classroom will be provided however to relieve overcrowding pending the erection of the new school and arrangements are being made accordingly.
