RTE have indicated that they have had no complaints about reception in Camp village. However, they say that in the surrounding area which is hilly, reception varies, and in some cases can be poor.
The district is served by Maghera transmitter which is in course of being renewed. RTE expect that better reception will be available from the new transmitter which is expected to be operational towards the end of 1977. However, the extent of the improvement and the areas which will benefit from this cannot be determined with any accuracy until the work has been completed.
