Progress with this scheme is dependent on an adequate supply of water being available to meet the group's daily requirements. I understand that approaches have been made by the group to Cork County Council who have recently advised that they should wait until the Charleville water supply augmentation scheme gets under way. A preliminary report on the augmentation scheme was received in my Department on 16th March, 1977, and is at present being examined.
