The contractor was instructed on 20th October to proceed with the building of the new community school at Clonakilty as soon as possible. By arrangement the commencement date was fixed for 1st November. The contractor has stated that on account of bad weather he was unable to commence on that date but that he hoped to be in a position to commence the work during the week beginning 7th November.
