andMr. Bruton asked the Minister for Education if he will lodge in the National and Oireachtas Libraries or otherwise make available to the public and their representatives, copies of all reports on the finding of archaeological objects lodged with the Director of the National Museum under section 23 of the National Monuments Act, 1930, together with a statement of the action taken in respect of the objects.
With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions 295 and 296 together.
I do not propose to have the reports and statements referred to in the Deputies' Questions lodged in the National Library or in the Oireachtas Libraries. Information required by the public or their representatives on specific finds or excavations reported to the National Museum is, however, available to them on request.
