In regard to (a) and (b) of the Question I assume that the Deputy is referring to the number of full-time and part-time fishermen.
There were 2,495 full-time and 4,898 part-time fishermen in 1976, the latest year for which figures are available.
A total of 2,800 persons were engaged in processing and in industries ancillary to fishing in the same year.
