The Deputy appears to be under a misapprehension in regard to the provision of huts for forest workers. It is the practice of my Department to provide huts at or convenient to all work sites where men can shelter during heavy rain or other inclement weather. The periods spent in shelters are generally of short duration and do not call for the provision of special heating facilities.
