Vol. 305 No. 7

Written Answers. - Tullamore School.

430.

asked the Minister for Education the amount of grants to the Sacred Heart School, Tullamore, Co. Offaly, since it was built in 1952; if he is aware of the expenditure commitment entered into by the order; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

It is not in accordance with normal practice to disclose the amount of grants paid to an individual secondary school. I can, however, supply the Deputy with particulars of the rates at which grants have been paid to secondary schools over the last ten years. These are as follows.

The rates of capitation grant and grant in lieu of tuition fees payable to secondary schools over the last ten years have been as follows:

Rate of Capitation Grant

Free Education Grant (same rate for Junior and Senior pupils)
