The Garda authorities report that the present policing arrangements for the coverage of the Larchville-Ballybeg area are reasonably adequate having regard to other demands on Garda resources. They consider that the provision of a new station in the area would not be warranted bearing in mind that the existing station at Ballybricken is only approximately 1½ miles from the area.
