: I am informed by the Garda authorities that the current allocation of gardaí to Carndonagh is reasonably adequate, having regard to other demands on Garda resources. There is no proposal at present to increase Garda strength at the centre, but the police needs of the area will be further considered according as additional manpower becomes available for assignment.
