An amount of £919,625, is available for expenditure on youth activities in the current year.
The main components are: Grant in aid to youth organisations, £278,125; Comhairle le Leas Óige, £200,000; Temporary Grant Scheme for Youth Employment, £300,000; Grants to Vocational Education Committees, £106,000: Inservice Training, Youth Exchanges and Youth Encounter Projects, £35,500.
In addition, youth will, of course, benefit from the amount of £462,600 available for expenditure on sport in the current year.
