: The levels of fines prescribed under the Agricultural Produce (Fresh Meat) Act, 1930, and the Pigs and Bacon Act, 1935, have not been revised in the interim. The position is that it has rarely, if ever, been necessary to prosecute offenders in accordance with the Acts and a general revision of the level of fines is not considered necessary at present.
