asked the Minister for Agriculture if, under the Pigs and Bacon Act, 1935, all persons who sell pork must be registered pork butchers.

: Only pork butchers who also wish to cure bacon are required to be registered under the Pigs and Bacon Act, 1935. Quantities of pork which may be cured by a registered pork butcher are limited to 15 per cent by weight of the carcases used by him at his registered premises during any period of 12 months subject to a maximum of 400 cwt.
