At present, the Industrial Development Authority owns approximately 659 acres at seven sites in Waterford city and county, details of which are as follows: Cappoquin, 24.5 acres; Dungarvan, 72 acres; Ferrybank, 283 acres; Grannyferry, 18 acres; Lismore, 4.7 acres; Tallow, 1.7 acres; Waterford City, 255.4 acres. Part of the site at Ferrybank extends into County Kilkenny. Of the IDA land at Waterford city, 108 acres are still available for industrial development.
The authority are at present negotiating for the purchase of an additional seven acres at Tallow.
