I move:
That, notwithstanding anything in Standing Orders the following arrangements shall apply in the debate on the motion for the Adjournment of the Dáil for the Christmas Recess:—
(a) the speech of each Member called on, other than the member of the Government opening the debate and the opening speakers for Fine Gael and the Labour Party, shall not exceed 45 minutes; and
(b) the final speaker from the Labour Party and the final speaker from Fine Gael shall be called on not later than 1.45 p.m. and 2.30 p.m. respectively tomorrow and a member of the Government shall be called on not later than 3.15 p.m. to conclude the debate.
