I assume the Deputy is referring to the Cullentra group water scheme.
The present position regarding this scheme is that approval to the design was received from Meath County Council in July 1978. In August 1978, my Department sought quotations on behalf of the group for pumps and other equipment.
At the same time the group were advised to seek quotations for excavation works so that firm costings could be determined and grants allocated, if in order. The quotations for excavation works are still awaited from the group and until these are received in my Department further progress on the scheme cannot be made.
