asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the plans, if any, for the provision of additional lines to Drimoleague telephone exchange, County Cork.

An extension to the exchange is being installed at present and will, it is expected, be brought into service within the next few weeks. This will allow of service being provided progressively to waiting applicants.

51.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when telephone service will be provided for a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

Service was being provided for the applicant concerned some months ago but he informed the Department at the time that he wished to be connected to an exchange other than the nearest one to him as proposed by the Department. Connection to the alternative exchange sought is not feasible. If the applicant is prepared to accept connection to the nearest exchange, service will be provided within the next few months.

52.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when telephone service will be provided for an applicant (details supplied) in County Dublin.

It is expected that service will be provided within the next few months.
