A total of 3,800 completed applications have been received to date and 353 grants have been paid. The average period between receipt of a completed application and payment of a grant is approximately six and a half weeks. Grants to reduce dependence on oil are not approved and notified to applicants in advance of completion of work, as in the case of normal housing grants.
