The Fane catchment is not included in the proposed programme of cross-Border drainage currently being considered.
It is on the priority list of catchments to be considered for treatment under the Arterial Drainage Act, 1945. However, in view of the extent of existing commitments it is unlikely to be reached for some considerable time.
