I have seen the report referred to by the Deputy. I am advised that the results of scientific studies so far carried out on possible carcinogenic effects in man of the preparations in question are inconclusive. The preparations are available in this country. Unless further research were to indicate more positively that there was danger from such preparations, control of their sale would not be called for.
