asked the Minister for Social Welfare the reasons an applicant (details supplied) in County Dublin is no longer in receipt of non-contributory old age pension.

A reinvestigation of the claim of the person concerned indicated that her means were over the statutory limit for receipt of non-contributory old age pension.

A question for revocation of the pension from 26 October 1979 has been referred to the local pension committee for decision and the social welfare officer informed the person concerned accordingly on 16 November 1979. If she is dissatisfied with the Pension Committee's decision she may appeal against it.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare the reasons for the delay in granting a non-contributory old age pension to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry.

An application for non-contributory old age pension which was received on 5 November 1979 from the person concerned has been investigated and is being referred to the local pension committee for decision.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare the reasons for the delay in granting a contributory old age pension to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry.

There is no record in my Department of the receipt of a claim to contributory old age pension from the person concerned. However, when the claim form which has been sent to him is returned duly completed his claim will be processed immediately.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare the reason for the delay in payment of a non-contributory old age pension to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry.

The person concerned, who has entered various hospitals since August 1979, has had a pension book payable either to herself or to an agent on her behalf in that time. The books at present in payment at Dingle Post Office are in her own name.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare the reasons for the delay in sanctioning a non-contributory old age pension for a person (details supplied) in County Kerry.

An old age pension at the maximum rate, including an adult dependant allowance, has been awarded by an appeals officer to the person concerned with effect from 9 April 1979. The appeals officer had deferred his decision in the case pending stamping of a deed of transfer of a holding.
