asked the Minister for Health the current weekly cost to the State of maintaining a patient in a Dublin teaching hospital.
Based on the non-capital allocations approved for 1980, the cost to the State of maintaining a patient in Dublin teaching hospitals will be approximately £345 per week on average in 1980. The cost of out-patient, as well as in-patient services is reflected in this figure.
