The name of this child has been placed on the waiting list for the proposed new day school to be established in Letterkenny. Consultations in regard to the practical arrangements for setting up this school are at present in progress with the local parties.
I am advised that placement in a special class in a different type of school would not be appropriate in the case of this child.
