The file in this case is with my Department's inspector for investigation and report with a view to the allocation and payment of a grant, if in order. It will not be possible to state the amount of the grant until the inspector's report has been received.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason a reduced home improvement grant of only £513 was approved in a case (details supplied) in Dublin, and if he will confirm that the full grant of £600 will be payable in this case.
A grant of £513, being two-thirds of the cost of the works, as estimated by my Department was allocated in this case. However, in view of the details now supplied by the Deputy the file has been referred to the supervising inspector for further investigation.
