A decision has not yet been taken on the implementation of the second phase of the recommendations in question.
When announcing their decision on the first phase of the recommendations, the Government indicated that the question of implementation of the second phase would be considered in the light of the developing economic and budgetary situation. The Government will take a decision in the matter as soon as practicable.
Could I have any indication from the Minister when a decision is likely, bearing in mind that 22 June or thereabouts was the recommended date of implementation? Will it be in the next few weeks or——
The date is 26 June and the Government will take it into account at the appropriate time.
