I assume that the Deputy may be referring to a scheme operated by Greece in 1978 and a scheme proposed to be operated by Italy in 1980.
It was not considered feasible to undertake participation in these schemes, having regard to the arrangements involved, including the potential cost for each individual pupil participant.
