I have seen the newspaper report referred to in the question. It does not indicate the number of college chaplains who expressed the view attributed to them or on what occasion the statements were made.
The facilities available in each regional technical college include a gymnasium or physical education hall, playing pitches and tarmacadam areas, incorporating tennis and basketball courts. As part of the recent programme of extensions to the colleges, increased student facilities, including larger libraries and common rooms, have been provided.
