Mr. Leonard
The Tripartite Standing Committee on Employment, which were established under the national understanding, are providing £600,000 from the employment Guarantee Fund to county development teams in the west for the improvement of bog roads in their areas, and I presume the Deputy is referring to the allocations made from this provision. On the basis of submissions received from the teams, the following allocations have been made:
£ |
|
Cavan |
67,000 |
Clare |
75,000 |
West Cork |
16,000 |
Donegal |
68,000 |
Kerry |
80,000 |
Leitrim |
55,000 |
West Limerick |
13,000 |
Mayo |
72,000 |
Monaghan |
22,000 |

The provision does not include an element in respect of turf-cutting machinery.
