: The certificate of approval to State grants for the Lurgybrack group water scheme was issued in August 1979. Subsequently the source for the scheme was changed from the River Swilly to the Letterkenny town supply and the scheme was redesigned. It is understood from the council that work on the scheme will commence shortly.
