: While the site was purchased in 1979 certain planning difficulties have hindered progress in this case but are now in the course of being resolved and it is hoped to be in a position to invite tenders about mid-1981.

: Terms have been agreed for the purchase of a site for a Garda station at Gurranebraher but because of legal difficulties the formalities of the transaction have not yet been completed. When these difficulties have been resolved arrangements for the erection of the new station will be put in hands as soon as possible.
