The application form for a grant under my Department's attic insulation scheme was not received in my Department but was addressed to the Department of the Environment from whom the applicant was also seeking a home improvement grant for work which included attic insulation.
A home improvement grant has, I understand, been approved by the Department of the Environment and I am informed that the insulation of the attic was included by that Department as work eligible for their grant.
In these circumstances, the application does not, of course, qualify for aid from my Department.
