A limited scheme of improvements to the operating theatre in St. Theresa's Unit, Ardkeen Hospital, which commenced in May 1981 was completed at the beginning of this month. This necessitated the closure of the theatre suite during this period and it has now been brought into use on a limited basis. The health board are now considering the measures required to bring the theatre suite into full use.
