asked the Minister for Defence if he is aware of the bad condition of the married quarters in Collins Barracks, Cork; and the plans made to update these quarters.
With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 531 and 532 together.
Plans for the construction of a scheme of 59 married quarters at Collins Barracks, Cork, are at present being developed in consultation with the National Building Agency.

I consider that it would not be in the interests of security to furnish information on the numbers of personnel stationed at individual military barracks or posts.
