The Chairman of the Board of Management of Coxtown National School applied in April 1977 for a grant towards the cost of purchase of a projector but did not furnish on time a properly receipted voucher of expenditure which would show that the equipment was purchased in accordance with the conditions of that year's scheme and accordingly it was not possible to sanction a grant.
My Department have no record of an application for a grant towards the cost of a projector by this school in the current financial year. A grant has, however, been paid in respect of a cassette-recorder.
