asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a public telephone kiosk will be provided for Kilbarron, County Tipperary.

It is planned to provide a telephone kiosk to serve Kilbarron. There are, however, over 800 kiosks included in the current programme for provision of kiosks throughout the country and it may be some considerable time before the kiosk at Kilbarron can be provided.

Provision of service is dependent on cabling being carried out in the area and cannot, it is regretted, be provided until the second half of next year.

It is unlikely that it will be possible to provide service for at least a year.
